- Preview of release: January 2026
- General availability of release (self-update): March 2026
- General availability of release (auto-update): April 2026
Features included in this release
The following table lists the features that are included in this release. We might update this article to include features that were added to the build after this article was originally published.
| Module or feature area | Feature | More information | Enabled by |
|---|---|---|---|
| Production Control | Sensor Data Intelligence - Auto report progress scenario | Coming soon | Feature management: (Preview) Sensor Data Intelligence - Auto report progress |
| Sales and marketing | Manage pricing rules using a generic base currency | Coming soon | Enabled by default |
| Sales and marketing | Optimize pricing data import and export workflows | Pricing data import and export entities | Feature management: Unified pricing management pricing rule performance enhancement |
| Sales and marketing | Simulate prices based on sales order line attributes | Coming soon | Enabled by default |
Feature enhancements added in this release
The following table lists the feature enhancements that were added in this release. Each of these enhancements provides an incremental improvement to an existing feature. Because they're only enhancements, they're not listed in the release plan. However, to ensure that these enhancements don't conflict with your existing customizations or preferences, each enhancement is turned off by default (unless otherwise noted).
Some of these features aren't visible on your system until you turn them on in feature management by using the name listed here for the Feature management name (additional configuration might also be needed). Features that don't show a feature management name are visible by default as of this version of Supply Chain Management, but typically add a new configuration option that you need to set to use the new functionality.
| Feature enhancement | Description |
|---|---|
| Module: Asset Management Feature management name: Add maintenance checklist template lines to work order lines |
Add maintenance checklist lines from a predefined template directly to work order lines. |
| Module: Inventory and warehouse management Enhancement: Consolidate inventory transactions Feature management name: (None) |
Inventory transaction consolidation is a prerequisite for the archiving and long-term retention of inventory transactions. During consolidation, detailed inventory transactions are replaced with summarized receipt and issue transactions. This change significantly reduces the size of the InventTrans table, delivering storage savings and improved system performance while preserving the original source transactions in an archive. |
| Module: Inventory and warehouse management Feature management name: Configure quality associations by product dimensions |
Allows administrators to configure quality associations by product dimensions such as configuration, color, and size. It ensures that quality checks can be applied at a more granular level for specific product variants. |
| Module: Master Planning Feature management name: (Preview) Exclude blocked transactions from planning if inventory status isn't a coverage plan dimension |
Excludes blocked transactions from planning when inventory status isn't set as a coverage plan dimension. When this feature is turned on, the Net requirements page no longer shows blocked transactions as On-hand and Inventory journal entries that offset each other by inventory blocking. This new behavior is more consistent with that of other planning scenarios. This feature only affects Planning Optimization, not the deprecated planning engine. |
| Module: Master Planning Feature management name: Consider receipt margins when applying action |
Causes the system to consider receipt margins when applying actions and to adjust receipt and delivery dates accordingly. For a purchase or a production order, receipt and delivery date can be set in the past. However, for a transfer order, the receipt date must always be after the ship date. In situations where scheduling backwards from the requirement date results in a transfer order with a ship date that's in the past, the system applies the receipt margin only partially or not at all because transfer orders can't have ship dates in the past. |
| Module: Production control Enhancement: Configure quality associations by product dimensions Feature management name: (None) |
Enables administrators to define quality associations based on product dimensions—such as configuration, color, or size—so that quality checks can be targeted more precisely for specific product variants. |
| Module: Transportation management Enhancement: Performance-optimized pro number generation Feature management name: (None) |
If your high-volume processes (such as release to warehouse) run slowly when you're using pro numbers, the new Performance optimized pro number generation option can help improve throughput. Learn more in Transportation management number sequence. |
| Module: Warehouse management Enhancement: Archive load related records with long‑term retention Feature management name: (None) |
Adds the ability to archive or remove historical load and work‑related data. This ability helps reduce index size, improve long‑term database health, and can accelerate scenarios such as refreshing sandbox environments from production. The existing archiving framework is extended to support the following tables:
|
| Module: Warehouse management Enhancement: Dynamic work classification using Power FX formulas Feature management name: (None) |
Allows dynamic work classification in warehouse operations based on Power FX formulas, which you might already know from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and the Power Platform. This enhancement allows warehouse queries to be evaluated dynamically, unlocking scenarios such as automatic work prioritization based on load priority or any other data, without requiring multiple location directives or work templates. By using Power FX, warehouse managers gain a more flexible and efficient way to manage complex operational logic autonomously within warehouse queries. |
| Module: Warehouse management Enhancement: Hand-free glove-mounted scanning support Feature management name: (None) |
The Warehouse Management mobile app now supports wrist‑mounted, hands‑free glove scanners, enabling faster and more ergonomic warehouse operations. Developed in collaboration with ProGlove and validated on Mark 2, Mark Basic, and LEO devices, the solution connects glove scanners to an Android‑powered device running the native Warehouse Management mobile app, providing real‑time feedback and intent‑based scanning. Hands‑free scanning reduces unnecessary motion, lowers cognitive load, and improves throughput and accuracy in high‑volume picking and packing scenarios. The capability is device‑agnostic, so you can choose supported glove scanners based on your operational needs. Requires Warehouse Management mobile app version 4.0.29.0 or higher. |
| Module: Warehouse management Enhancement: License plate consolidation performance improvements Feature management name: (None) |
Enhances how warehouse inventory transactions are used during license plate consolidation, which improves system performance. |
| Module: Warehouse management Enhancement: Packed container picking performance enhancements Feature management name: (None) |
Enhances how warehouse inventory transactions are used when picking from a packed container, which improves system performance. |
| Module: Warehouse management Enhancement: Warehouse Management mobile app support for Microsoft Entra Conditional Access Feature management name: (None) |
The Warehouse Management mobile app now supports Microsoft Entra Conditional Access, enabling organizations to apply modern, enterprise-grade security policies that control how and when users can sign in. IT administrators can enforce requirements such as multifactor authentication, device trust validation, and risk- or location-based access controls. The solution makes use of brokered authentication and aligns with the same Zero Trust security standards used across Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365 applications. Microsoft Entra Conditional Access ensures secure access for the right user, on the right device, under the right conditions, without impacting warehouse productivity. Learn more in Use Microsoft Entra Conditional Access with the Warehouse Management mobile app. |
| Module: Warehouse management Feature management name: Remove Show Closed Button |
Removes the Show closed button from warehouse related forms. Instead, you can now use filters and saved views directly on the form. This feature is enabled by default. |

The Removed or deprecated features in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management article describes features that are removed or scheduled to be removed or deprecated for Supply Chain Management.
- A removed feature is no longer available in the product.
- A deprecated feature isn't in active development and might be removed in a future update.
Before Microsoft removes any feature from the product, it announces the deprecation notice in the Removed or deprecated features in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management article 12 months prior to the removal.
For breaking changes that only affect compilation time, but are binary compatible with sandbox and production environments, the deprecation time is less than 12 months. Typically, these changes are functional updates that need to be made to the compiler.
