How to delete Azure Front Door and Front Door WAF policy?

I am unable to delete Azure Front Door and Front Door WAF policy.

I have already tried deleting WAF Policy first. I have tried this.

There are no Security Policies set. There are no domains set.

There is an Association between the two resources and it wont let me remove it saying "Failed to update the Front door profile '<resource name>'.

How to delete AFD and Front Door WAF Policy?

Since you mentioned there's an association that prevents deletion, ensure that there's no leftover configuration linking the Front Door to the WAF policy. Sometimes, associated resources may not be immediately visible.

Check whether the profile is associated with any other profile using the command below.

Get-AzFrontDoorWafPolicy -Name $policyName -ResourceGroupName $resourceGroupName
