Hi Team,
I have a client with a Microsoft Corporation, Surface Laptop for Business 7th Edition with Intel and the machine takes a while to load. We noted that during startup there is a SurfaceMLService as well as a Surface Experience Service. I believe these may be linked to some AI services for these particular windows machines. Are you able to advise what these are? Are they linked to anything we can safely turn off to improve performance? Will turning them off affect anything? Am I completely wrong and there are no AI components or unnecessary services? Please advise. Thanks

2026-02-04T22:49:20.8933333+00:00 I rejected the answer as it did say they were AI related but i'd like a moderator to comment on the effect if I were to turn them off as i've read things about them perhaps being related to things like battery life etc.
