My teams calendar got switched to new one by itself. I have spent a lot of time trying to switch back to the old one. The toggles switch at the top does not work, its permanently stuck on New Calendar. Instead it open a form for feedback, which i have filled multiple times and the bottom of the feedback form there is a button for 'Stay in New Calendar', well I am already in new calendar, genius. Something somewhere is broken. The option to switch is not there. Please help. The new version is very hard to use and not at all intuitive.

    Dear @Sharma, Archna,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum. I am happy to assist you.

Starting August 5, 2025, Microsoft officially announced the permanent removal of the toggle for the legacy Teams calendar. After this update, all users will automatically see the new calendar experience as the default.

I tested this behavior on my side as well. Before updating, the toggle was still visible, although it could not be turned off. After the app updated, the option disappeared completely. This confirms that the change is part of the new product update. Because of this, users can no longer switch back to the old calendar view.

I understand that changes like this may affect your workflow or feel inconvenient, especially if you were more comfortable with the previous layout. Since this is a new Microsoft Teams feature, I kindly encourage you to share your feedback directly with Microsoft. Your input is valuable and helps the product team understand how these changes impact real users.

You can submit feedback directly to Microsoft via the Teams app (Settings and more > Feedback), or through Feedback Hub by

Go to: Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub > Send Feedback > Describe your proposal in detail.

Sharing your experience through this channel is the most impactful way to advocate for a change that would benefit you and other users.

Thank you again for your patience and for bringing this to our attention. While I can't change the product's design, please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any other questions about its current functionality. Your perspective is important, and I’m confident it will support the continued development of the Teams app experience.

If you need any further assistance, feel free to reach out. We're here to help. Thank you very much for your understanding and your cooperation.
